Melissa Chen is a Canadian painter and filmmaker. She immigrated to British Columbia, Canada from China at the age of two. She is currently in London, England attending the Royal College of Art for an Master of Arts in Painting. She previously studied fine art at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC) where she learned painting, drawing, filmmaking, printmaking, shoe design, foundry and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts.
